Checkout the tribute of her above

Dakota loves everyone and everything and is always happy and smiling. Dakota means "friend" and she is truly a friend to all.   She is extremely intelligent and can figure out how to get out of any crate, fence, etc.  It is a game to her and she enjoys the challenge. She can be extremely stubborn at times.  She is such a joy to have around.  She loves kids and always has a kiss for anyone that will take one.  She loves to carry stuffed animals around and actually purrs when greeting us.  It is very a special trait that she has and we just love it.

Dakota is a big girl and stands 27" tall and weighs 100lbs.  Dakota is from the Sammy/Daisy litter and was born on 1/15/03. She is currently 5 1/2 years old.  She is from a litter of 11, 9 males and 2 females.

She is the Beta of this pack and tries to keep order within the group.  She likes to challenge Caleb for his Alpha status.

She is a very happy girl and always has a smile for everyone.

DAKOTA IS A LONGCOATED GERMAN SHEPHERD

I have always said that the eyes of a dog are the stairway to their soul. Look at the eyes on this girl, they speak volumes

Dakota was my first German Shepherd.  She and I have learned a lot together.   She is very perceptive and I have learned to listen to her.  She can sense a storm before it even arrives and we have all learned that when Dakota gets antsy - we should head to the basement.

Kiss

Dakota is black, tan and red and is plush coated.  She has beautiful coloring.
